esse.io was founded on May 15th 2015, all our team members come from IBM cloud computing and Bigdata analysis team. In the past year of 2015, we built our Bigdata product EDP and engaged it with our existing customers, including oil,electronic and p2p finance industry. We are looking forward to 2016, our product will be continuously inspired and enhanced by feedback from our customers, and always ready to bring new ideas together with the latest technology to make esse.io better and better.
Our team values personal growth, team work, code review, easy communication. We respect and prefer boring technology, we write our product in python, go, scala and use git to manage our codes, we use postgresql to store our metadata, use cassandra to store data like json. We like to communicate in english via skype. While we are all experienced cloud operators, we do not build our our own clusters, all our codes are stored in cloud. We have no testers, if you ever heard of Devops.
